GSA is proud to support geneticists
using the mouse as a model organism, and
welcomes new collaborations with the
mouse community. In June 2011, GSA
teamed up with
IMGS and
CTC to host the first Mouse Genetics
Conference in Washington, D.C. The
meeting featured a keynote address from
NIH Director Francis Collins, and
plenary presentations by premiere mouse
researchers focusing on disease models,
preclinical translation, systems
genetics, and large scale resources for
the community. In October 2012,
GSA hosted the Mouse Molecular Genetics conference
at the Asilomar conference grounds in
Pacific Grove, California, with plenary
sessions in topics ranging from
development to models of human disease.
Mouse Molecular Genetics will again
convene at Asilomar in fall 2014, please
check the website to sign up for
notifications.
