GSA co-signs letter of concern on NSF BIO’s One PI/Co-PI policy
GSA has signed a letter with 20 other biological and ecological organizations expressing concern at the National Science Foundation Biological Science Directorate’s new policy that limits the number of proposal submissions to its core programs to one Principal Investigator/Co-PI submission per year.

Election 2018: Impact on science funding and policy issues
GSA partner FASEB will host a webinar tomorrow, November 8, reviewing the results of the 2018 US mid-term Congressional elections and discussing the potential impact on science funding and policy issues. Jonathan Walton 1953–2018
Jonathan Walton (Michigan State University) passed away on October 18, 2018. Walton was an internationally recognized leader in the study of plant-pathogen interactions and a frequent attendee of the Fungal Genetics Conference at Asilomar.
