There is a check box on the Fungal Conference abstract submission site to indicate that you would like the abstract to be considered for Asperfest12 also. Abstract deadline is December 10, 2014.

If you wish to submit an abstract for Asperfest12 that is NOT going to be presented at the Fungal Conference, please email your abstract(s) as a Word file attachment to aspergillus@plantbio.uga.edu. Include the names and affiliations of all authors. Underline the name of the presenting author. If you are a student and first and presenting author and would like to be considered for the Novozymes student poster prize, please follow your name with an asterisk (*). The main body of your abstract must be less than 2,500 words.

 

Two authors will share a 4’ high x 8’ wide poster board. The useable space for each author will measure 3’10” (111.8 cm) wide x 3’10” (111.8 cm) high. No materials for making posters will be available at the conference grounds. We encourage photos of the authors be attached to posters.

Due to time constraints, not all abstracts submitted may be chosen for oral presentation.

Ad Hoc Sessions

Time is available in the early afternoons for ad hoc sessions. Those wishing to convene a session should contact mahoney@genetics-gsa.org with the title, date they would like to hold the session and number of people expected. The session information will be sent to the scientific organizers for final approval before being added to the schedule. Ad Hoc organizers will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the session, including speaker presentations. The ad hoc session information must be received by January 8, 2015 to be included in the program book.
